Dr J. Morgan Micheletti is a board-certified ophthalmologist and Executive Partner, Director of Research, and Fellowship Director at Berkeley Eye Center in Houston, Texas, USA. He specialises in cataract and refractive surgery, interventional glaucoma, and complex anterior segment surgery, and has performed more than 10,000 surgical procedures.

Dr Micheletti is the recipient of the IIRSI Gold Medal and has been recognised as a Top 40 Under 40 ophthalmologist. His work includes participation in the JAMES project, which sent intraocular lenses to the International Space Station. He has authored hundreds of publications, served as principal investigator for more than 20 clinical trials, and is a serial inventor with six patent-pending devices.

He also serves as Director of Clinical Strategy for Synoptic, Co-Chair of the AECOS Sustainability Committee, and host of The History of Eyecare podcast.
