Dr Lena Beckers is a German ophthalmologist specialising in refractive and cataract surgery, with particular expertise in intraocular lens optics, visual quality, and real-world clinical outcomes. She completed her ophthalmology training at Breyer, Kaymak & Klabe Eye Surgery, the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf, and Augenärzte am Rathausmarkt, and currently practises at Precise Vision, Germany.

A Fellow of the Refractive Surgery Alliance (FWCRS), Dr Beckers is a frequent speaker at national and international meetings and serves as a reviewer for several peer-reviewed journals. She is actively involved in clinical research and is an investigator in multiple IOL trials, with a strong focus on translating innovation into improved patient outcomes.
