Professor Satish Srinivasan is a consultant corneal surgeon at University Hospital Ayr, Scotland and Professor of Health and Life Sciences at the University of West of Scotland. His interests are in lamellar corneal surgery, laser refractive surgery, micro incision cataract surgery and anterior segment reconstruction. Professor Srinivasan will discuss his experiences with the 1stQ Addon intraocular lenses by Medicontur and the AcuFocus IC-8 intraocular lens.

Professor Brendan Vote is a Clinical Professor in Ophthalmology at the University of Tasmania and a consultant ophthalmologist at the Launceston Eye Institute. Professor Vote graduated from the University of Queensland in 1990 and has published more than 90 peer reviewed articles. In 2008 Professor Vote established a charity Tasmanian Eye Institute that is devoted to research, education and service in ophthalmology. Professor Vote is highly experienced with the AcuFocus IC-8 and Medicontur Bi-Flex platforms of intraocular lenses. Professor Vote will discuss some of his experiences with these novel intraocular lenses.

Dr Mitchell Shultz (USA) is a fellowship trained, board certified refractive surgeon, expert in the most advanced techniques of vision correction surgery. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and the International Society of Refractive Surgery, Dr. Shultz has committed himself to teaching the most recent advances to ophthalmologists and optometrists nationwide.

Dr Florian Kretz is an ophthalmologist and Fellow of the European Board of Ophthalmology (F.E.B.O.). The focus of his work is on cataract and refractive surgery. He additionally conducts research into the fields of glaucoma, the macula and retinal disease.

While working as an anaesthetist with Project Orbis, a flying eye hospital travelling to underprivileged regions, Dr. Patrick Versace discovered that his real passion lay in ophthalmology. Today, he is a highly experienced cataract and refractive surgeon, who has performed thousands of vision correction procedures.

Dr Sheetal Brar is a senior consultant in the phacoemulsification and refractive surgery department and a research coordinator at the Nethradhama Eye Hospital, Bangalore.

Dr Gilles Lesieur

Dr Gilles Lesieur is the founder, chairman and medical director of the Centre Ophtamologique IRIDIS in France. Additionally, Dr Lesieur teaches microincision cataract surgery to surgeons from emerging countries.

Dr Steven Schallhorn

Dr Steven Schallhorn is the Chief Medical Director for ZEISS and a board certified ophthalmologist in private practice in San Diego, California as well as a Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of California, San Francisco.

Bryan S. Lee, MD, JD, specialises in cataract, cornea and refractive surgery at Altos Eye Physicians in California. He graduated from Harvard College and Law School and Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine. He completed residency at the Wilmer Eye Institute and fellowship at Minnesota Eye Consultants with Dr. Lindstrom. Dr. Lee serves on the American Academy of Ophthalmology Council, Online Education, and Refractive Surgery BCSC committees and is a member of the ASCRS Phaco Fundamentals Editorial Board. He will discuss his recent co-authored publication on the superior rotational stability on the AcrySof platform compared to Tecnis TIOLs1.
